The team at Pehal, comprising of the three trustees and friends of Pehal, has initiated various projects at Chamaru village that aim at bringing about infrastructural changes in the sarkari school; creating after-school study programmes and organizing workshops in art, theatre, music and sports for the children; introducing new teaching methodologies to the teachers; and involving the people of the village, particularly children, in tree planting and reforesting.
