Pehal: Strengthening the Basis of Education was registered as a Trust in March, 2022, however, the initiative started in August 2021. We are now looking for funds to further upgrade the infrastructure, buy workbooks for the children including more educational material and books for the library, acquire computers and audiovisual devises, and hire one experienced specialised-teacher to set up and monitor the teaching programmes at the school, help teachers build teaching-plans, mentor them as well as teach foundational courses to the children. And we also need funds to maintain the trees that the children have planted around the village as well as freshly planted forest on the outskirts of the village.
